Just In: President Buhari Arrives Russia (Photos)


President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Sochi, Russia ahead of the Russia-Africa Economic Forum. reports that the President’s arrival was disclosed in a tweet on Monday night by Bashir Ahmad, his Special Assitant on New Media.
This online news platform understands that the President was welcomed by Mayor of Sochi Anatoly Pakhomov and other Russian Government officials.
Confirming the President’s arrival, Ahamd tweeted: “President @MBuhari arrives Sochi, Russia ahead of the Russia-Africa Economic Forum, he’s welcomed by Mayor of Sochi Anatoly Pakhomov and other Russian Government officials.”
We recalls that President Buhari departed Nigeria on Monday morning to attend a three-day Russia-Africa Summit in Sochi, Russia.
This online news platform understands that the summit is scheduled to hold on October 23rd to 25th, 2019.
Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President in a statement, said the summit will focus on exploring and expanding opportunities in security, trade and investment, science and technology, and gas production.
